Items Moving

A fixed price for the items you list, even for just one item, worked out from your items and the distance. Minimum order €70.

Best for

One item or a few items from one place.

Van by Hour

An hourly rate with as many stops as you need. Running over? Extend in the app as you go.

Best for

Collecting from several shops or sellers in one trip.

Van by Day

A flat daily rate for a full 8-hour day with the van, the driver and the helper.

Best for

Furnishing a whole home, or a big clear-out.

Tips for a smooth delivery

  • Check the item fits through your doors, stairs and lift.
  • Make sure someone is there to hand it over at pickup and to receive it at drop-off.
  • Defrost and drain fridges and freezers, and drain washing machines, before collection.
  • Tell us about stairs or no lift when you book; any charge shows in your quote.

Delivery questions

How much does furniture delivery cost in Malta?
With Items Moving the price is worked out from your items and the distance, with a minimum order of €70. It includes VAT, and you see the exact price in the app before you confirm.
Can you collect from a shop and deliver to my home?
Yes. Enter the shop as the pickup and your home as the drop-off. The driver and helper collect the item and carry it in.
Can you collect something I bought from a private seller?
Yes. Enter the seller’s address as the pickup. Make sure the seller knows when the van is coming and that the item is ready.
Can I book a delivery for today?
Yes. Choose Book now and we look for a driver straight away, often the same day. Or schedule a date and time.
What if my item is damaged?
Tell us straight away through Contact Us in the app, on WhatsApp or by email at info@thevanapp.com, with photos if you can. We will look into it and work with you to reach a fair resolution in line with our Terms.
