Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy

All rights, title, and interest in and to TheVanApp, including but not limited to software, mobile applications, website, logos, trademarks, service marks, trade names, designs, text, graphics, databases, photographs, videos, and all other content (collectively, the “Intellectual Property”), are owned or licensed by Asergis Operations Limited.

Except as expressly permitted in writing by us, no part of TheVanApp or its content may be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, sold, licensed, published, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent.

We reserve all rights not expressly granted to users under this Policy or our Terms & Conditions.

Subject to compliance with our Terms & Conditions, we grant users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use TheVanApp solely for lawful purposes.

This license does not allow users to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App.
• Copy or distribute any part of the App without authorization.
• Use our Intellectual Property in a misleading, defamatory, or unauthorized manner.

Users may provide or upload content to TheVanApp (e.g., item descriptions, reviews, feedback, photos). By submitting content, you represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights and permissions to share such content.

By submitting content, you grant TheVanApp a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute such content in connection with providing and improving our services.

You retain ownership of your content, subject to the license granted above.

Users must not upload, share, or transmit any content that:

• Infringes upon the copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, or other proprietary rights of any third party.
• Misuses TheVanApp branding, logos, or trademarks without written authorization.
• Is unlawful, offensive, or misleading.

We reserve the right to remove or disable access to any content that allegedly infringes intellectual property rights.

If you believe your copyrighted work has been copied or used in a way that constitutes infringement, you may submit a written notice to our designated Copyright Agent.

Your notice must include:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
2. Identification of the infringing material and its location on TheVanApp.
3. Your name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.
4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized.
5. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
6. Your physical or electronic signature.

If your content has been removed due to a copyright claim and you believe this was done in error, you may submit a counter-notice to our Copyright Agent.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we may restore the removed content unless the original complainant initiates legal action within the time required by law.

We may, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights or who repeatedly submit infringing material.

We may update this Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy from time to time. Updates will be effective upon posting in the App or on our website.
