- Describe your items honestly, including size, weight, and any special handling instructions.
2. Pack Items Safely
- Ensure items are securely packed to prevent damage during transport.
- Fragile or high-value items should be appropriately protected or insured.
3. Prohibited Items
Do not request transport of illegal or restricted items, including:
- Weapons, explosives, or hazardous materials.
- Drugs, stolen property, or cash.
- Live animals, perishables, or fragile goods requiring special handling.
4. Respect Drivers & Partners
- Treat drivers/partners professionally and courteously.
- Avoid harassment, abusive language, or unsafe requests.
5. Payments & Cancellations
- All payments are processed through the App.
- Cancellation fees may apply if you cancel after a driver has been assigned.
- Refunds are issued according to our Terms & Conditions.
6. Acknowledge Risks & Liability
- You accept that transporting items involves some risk of damage, delay, or loss.
- TheVanApp is not responsible for damage to items unless otherwise stated.
- You may arrange insurance for high-value or fragile items.
7. Report Issues Promptly
- If items are lost, damaged, or delivery problems occur, report them through the App immediately.
- Fraud, suspicious behaviour, or safety concerns should also be reported through the App.
8. Compliance with Law
You agree to comply with all local laws regarding transport, prohibited items, and safety. Misuse of the platform for unlawful purposes may result in account suspension or termination.
